The Meme Idea

Most Facebook pages tend to often to post witty messages in the form of a "meme". These consist of a person with a funny expression and a funny punch line. So I said to myself;

"Why don't I make one for the page?"

So I went ahead, but I got stuck on finding a photo of an individual band member with a funny looking expression on their face. I eventually decided on a still of JK, smiling (no surprises there). Here's some ideas I made.

People have always asked me;
"If you know so much about Spandau Ballet, how come you don't know when their first gig was?".
I'm not a super genius, but it was quite easy to look it up, and it was at club Blitz, London, in December 1979!

Makes a perfect throwback, don't ya think? It's nice to look back at the past times and remember how good they were!




Now, I just love this pic, true Soul Boys! I just love their facial expressions, their clothes make them so cool and serious!

Martin vs. Gary, who's the better looking one?

A lot of people have asked me which one I think is the best looking Kemp brother. I fall down and hit a brick wall at that one, because I simply don't know which one to choose! I like both! But...

Martin always knows when and where to dress classy, Soho being the place!

Gary has a huge select circle of friends, including Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran and Roger Taylor of Queen.

Martin had a mullet in the 1980's and suited it very well. You could say he was keeping up with the times.

Gary made an exceptional backing vocalist. Have you heard his famous parts on Chant No 1 and Instinction?

Martin: bass god!
